Cross Border Mexico Customer Accessorial Policy

This Customer Accessorial Policy (this “Policy”) supplements, is incorporated into, and made a part of the written agreement for transportation services last executed between you (“Shipper”) and Arrive (“Signed Contract”), or if no signed agreement is in effect, the Freight Service Terms and Conditions, found on our website at https://www.arrivelogistics.com/freight-terms-and-conditions/ (the “Terms”). The Signed Contract or Terms may either be referred to as the “Agreement” where applicable. This Policy sets forth additional terms and conditions applicable to accessorial rates associated with the transportation services under the Agreement. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Addendum shall have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree to add the following terms to the Agreement:

  1. For all cross-border shipments, the following Accessorial Rates (and related terms) to be paid by Shipper shall apply:

  • Dry Van ~ Trailer Layover starts after 3 business days from the trailer’s arrival to the border. Detention will only be considered Mon-Sat.
  • Reefer ~ Trailer Layover starts after 2 business days from the trailer’s arrival to the border. Detention will be considered by calendar day (Mon-Sun).
  • Layovers will increase $50/day after 7 days as shown above.
  1. If Shipper has a Signed Contract with Arrive that does not address Accessorial Rates, the additional Accessorial Rates (and related terms) to be paid by Shipper shall also apply:

  •  Detention time begins two hours after the scheduled appointment time.
  • TONU applied for any cancellations/date changes within 24 hours or less of the scheduled appointment time
  • Detention of Carrier’s Vehicle at Origin, Without Power: After agreed upon loading time has passed, detention of $60 /day shall apply to individual trailers
  1. Shipper acknowledges and agrees that Arrive reserves the right to modify the Accessorial Rates or time frames provided herein at any time, effective as of the date posted, unless otherwise noted.
  2. Other than as specifically stated herein, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Policy and the Agreement, the terms of this Policy shall prevail.
